Want to Come Meet My Orcas Island Farm Friends?
Alpaca You a Lunch!
Quiet, Curious and Adorable
Orcas Moon Alpacas Farm is a small family farm nestled on beautiful Orcas Island featuring animals of all kinds. We offer tours of the farm by donation and sell farm-related merchandise at our farm stand, such as fine sheep and alpaca yarns, socks, lamb skins, logo-wear, and island-grown lamb.
Come interact with one of South America's lesser-known members of the camelid family, whose fleece was once reserved for royalty — it’s that terrifically soft and warm! Also learn about the characteristics of our animals, their husbandry, and what it's like to live on a farm in these charmed islands that we call home.

Or, perhaps you'd like to discuss alpaca ownership? We are happy to talk about that too. We have adopted the philosophy of our founding farm to breed for the finest fleece while maintaining a high standard of conformation, temperament and overall health. Whether you are looking for proven dams who have already produced beautiful cria, elite maidens, a junior herdsire, or fiber animals, we likely have just what you are looking for.

Directions & Hours
Orcas Moon Alpacas Farm is the island's only alpaca farm, located just minutes from the ferry landing halfway to the picturesque town of Eastsound. From the ferry, travel 4-miles North towards Eastsound on Orcas Road. Take a sharp right at the "information map triangle" — we are just a couple hundred yards back down Dolphin Bay Road, first Alpaca farm on the left, blue mailbox number 329. Please drive SLOWLY on our property - you may park anywhere on the circular road. Do knock on the blue front door to let us know you are here!
We are generally open between 11 am and 4 pm on weekends, and 1 pm to 4 pm weekdays. We don't take formal reservations, but would appreciate your call about twenty-minutes or so before you wish to visit to ensure we are available, especially during the off-season, at (360) 376-2707. Otherwise, just check the open/closed sign at the top of our driveway/ front door and knock on the blue door so that we know you are here.
We are a small family farm with lots of work to get done and on occasion the animals need a rest, or it just gets too wet for tours, so please understand if we have to take a literal rain check! Finally, with our large variety of animals, pets must remain in your vehicle for their safety — please speak with us in advance about trained service animal accommodations.
